Q - What is Aromatherapy?
A - Aromatherapy involves the use of aromatic Essential Oils to promote the body's own natural healing process. This can be done in a variety of ways, from massage, inhalations, baths, compresses, etc.
NB: Always consult a qualified Aromatherapist before using neat Essential Oils as there are many cautions to be aware of - especially with children and during pregnancy.
Skin Absorption - Essential Oils have the ability to penetrate into the bloodstream (through the skin) and travel around the body helping to balance and regulate. A simple way to see how quickly oils penetrate into the skin is to rub garlic on the soles of your feet and you will be able to taste it on your breath in about half an hour!
