How to care for sensitive skin

At Pure Lochside we have developed products specifically for use on very sensitive or irritated skin. These products do contain essential oils as essential oils are safe to use at the right levels and if the right blends are chosen.

Our Soothe Daily Face Oil is designed to help reduce sensitivity and soothe skin. The Organic Orange Cleansing Oil cleans the skin gently without stripping the skin of natural oils.

Sensitive skin is a skin condition - not a skin type.

We are all born with a skin type for example oily or dry which can then change during our lifetime. Most of us will develop skin conditions throughout our life depending on lifestyle, diet, pollution levels, stress, ill health, etc. Sensitive skin is probably the most common skin conditions and will probably affect most of us at one time or another.

Treat the cause

We also add in Organic Rose Otto and Neroli (highly prized essential oils) to the Soothe Daily Face Oil which are said to help de-stress and uplift, as stress is one of the most common causes of sensitivity.

Soothing Organic Extracts

Organic Calendula, Roman and German Chamomile and healing High Altitude Lavender are added to the Soothe Daily Face Oil to soothe and calm inflamed and itchy skin - making it an ideal product for eczema too.
